Education Resources
The ISTD Education Team is committed to developing a resource for those engaged in typographic education. A major part of that development process is achieved through use of our Student Assessment archive. Successful submissions are photographically recorded and digitally archived. In addition to recording the finished design proposals we keep a record of aspects of the research and development.
Opportunities for staff and students to see examples of good work by student designers from other institutions, and from other countries, are very rare. As the ISTD Student Assessment attracts submissions from students around the world, the archive offers a unique opportunity to share examples of good student achievement. This is intended to inspire and to act as confirmation of standards. Through this site we offer examples of work submitted for each of the projects from previous years. These are best viewed in conjunction with the project briefs that can be downloaded in PDF format.
Progressively we aim to extend the range of resource material. Much of this will be determined through the work of the Education Team. However, we aim to respond to suggestions from users of our resource.
